W.STUDIOS was created to show the beauty of charcoal. While charcoal is a common medium to sketch with, it is rarely used for frame-worthy creations. Charcoal is a difficult, dusty, and messy medium yet when used wisely it creates a pure raw piece of stunning work.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jess is a young creator who always had a talent for art. Her passion led her to Western Washington University with the intent to study fine art, however during her first year in college she discovered Industrial Design and found she could use her artistic eye to study product design and development. Her coursework, while being engineering based, required a vast amount of fine art classes where she was able to continue her talent. Here she discovered she thrived with charcoal. After completing her Bachelors of Science Degree in 2013 and working in the Industrial Design field, she has continued to do commissioned artwork, wedding stationary, graphic design, and other various marketing collateral. This here is a brief portfolio focusing on her charcoal art.
